WORLD YOUTH SKILLS DAY
Skills for a Resilient Youth
YIBA partners with the United Nations to substantially increase the number of youths and adults who have relevant skills. World Youth Skills Day (WYSD) is an initiative of the United Nations that is celebrated every year, on 15th July.
YIBA, being an organizing partner, creates different training programs for youths to acquire the necessary skills that will make them better people, and also impact society.
On WYSD this year, YIBA will launch online courses for its registered members. It will be gifting vouchers at highly subsidized rates for the attending youths to access the online courses. The Voucher will grant users free access to the website for 1 year and the ability to interact with other entrepreneurs and mentors on the platform.
The courses will be uploaded online as training videos for both new and seasoned entrepreneurs at different learning levels. They are classified under the Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, with each having 10 or more modules. The courses are divided into three main categories, namely; Physical Skills, Digital Skills, and Soft Skills.
